Figure 5a and b. In-line strainers used to tighten and maintain tension are available in two types: a) the ratchet strainer; and (b) the "daisy" strainer. The ratchet strainer requires a special handle for tightening. A 1/2-inch drive ratchet can be used to adjust the "daisy" strainer.
