Figure 3. (A) and (B) show how the angle of the spray pattern affects the width of the pattern. As the angle, x, is increased from (A) to 2x in (B), the pattern width increases proportionately. The height of the nozzle above the ground also affects the width of the spray pattern, as shown in (C) and (D). As the height, y, in (C) increases to a height of z in (D), the pattern width increases proportionately.
