C. Dean Allen Award for Excellence
The purpose of this award is to recognize initiative, growth, leadership and accomplishments in 4-H International and/or All Star programs by unit Extension faculty. To encourage growth in scope and size of programs with emphasis on opportunities which broaden the horizon of participants.
Eligibility
- Nominee must have been a member of the Unit Extension Faculty for three (3) or more years.
- Nominee must be supportive of the 4-H All Star Mission of Service, involve 4-H All Stars in the local 4-H program, have or encouraged a formalized Unit 4-H All Star Chapter, and/or provided 4-H International opportunities for youth and families in the unit or area.
Nominations may be made by 4-H volunteers, unit (county/city), District or State Extension Faculty members. Submit nominations on this form by January 1 to: State 4-H Office, 107 Hutcheson Hall, VPI&SU, Blacksburg, VA 24061-0419.

Bradshaw Service Award
Purpose
To provide recognition for individual active 4-H All Stars who have been members of the Virginia Chapter of 4-H All Stars fifteen or less years and have rendered outstanding service to the All Star organization.
Eligibility
- Nominee must be a member of the Virginia Chapter of 4-H All Stars.
- Nominee's membership in the chapter must be fifteen years or less.
- Nominee must have rendered service to the Chapter or unit, district, and/or state levels.
Nomination Process
Nominations may be made by individual All Stars, Extension personnel, and unit or district chapters. Nominations may be submitted on the form for that purpose and are to be sent by January 1 to: State 4-H Office, 107 Hutcheson Hall, VPI&SU, Blacksburg, VA 24061-0419.
Selection Process
The recipient of the Bradshaw Service Award will be named by a Selection Committee. The Selection Committee will be composed of all members including advisors, of the Executive Committee of the Virginia chapter of 4-H All Stars excluding members of that group who are nominees. In the event this exclusion produces a committee of less than nine members, vacancies shall be filled by district chiefs chosen at random.
The selection will be made by secret ballot after each committee member has received and reviewed all the nomination forms.
Presentation
The announcement of the Bradshaw Service Award recipient will be made at the annual Midwinter Conference. The recipient will be presented with a Silver Revere Bowl and their name will be added to the permanent plaque.

Virginia 4-H All Star Hall Of Fame Award
The purpose of this award is to provide recognition for individual 4-H All stars who have been members of the Virginia Chapter of 4-H All Stars more than 15 years and have rendered outstanding service to the Virginia Chapter of 4-H All Stars, the 4-H Program, and other civic and community organizations.
- Nominee must be a member of the Virginia Chapter of 4-H All Stars.
- Nominee's membership in the Chapter must be more than 15 years.
- Nominee must have rendered outstanding service to the Virginia Chapter
of 4-H All Stars, the 4-H Program, civic and community organizations.
Nominations may be made by individual All Stars, unit, or district chapters. Nominations must be submitted on this form by May 1 to: State 4-H Office, 107 Hutcheson Hall, VPI&SU, Blacksburg, VA 24061-0419.

Virginia 4-H All Star Chapter Charter
The purpose of the All Star Chapter Charter and seal program is:
to recognize all chapters which are meeting minimum requirements for organized All star service and to encourage inactive chapters to become active.
The minimum requirements to determine an active chapter are:
- Minimum of three active members
- Evidence of service given to 4-H through the unit Extension office
- Elected officers
- At least one meeting per year
- At least one, 4-H'er or honorary identified for potential membership during the year. (Does not have to have been accepted.)
The charter and seal renewal application should include the following information in the form of attachments.
- Number of All Stars residing in the unit (if known).
- Number of active All Stars in the unit.
- Number of All Stars assisting with Public Speaking or Presentations as:
- workshop leader
- judge
- organizer
- sponsor
- other ________________________________________________
- Name, address, and phone number of the unit All star contact person.
- List of chapter officers.
- Number of meetings held.
- Number of All Star member nominations reviewed at the unit level, the number forwarded to the district level, and the number accepted into membership.
- Number of Honorary all Star nominations reviewed at the unit level, the number forwarded to the district level; and the number accepted into membership.
- List of All Star service projects conducted in the unit and the number of All Stars involved in each project or program.
- List of special programs conducted for new initiates.
- List of All Star promotions conducted.
- List of All Stars attending District, State, and Interstate level All Star functions.
