Justin Watson State President |
I have been in 4-H for 6 years, and I am still very involved with the program as I complete my first year of study at The University of Virginia. Four-H has allowed me to study many things, such as the wetlands, ecology, and hippology, that I would not have been exposed to otherwise. It has also allowed me to develop leadership skills and meet other youth that are interested in developing themselves as well. Four-H has made me who I am today and I have greatly benefited from its influence. I am a 4-H All-Star, I have been on state cabinet for 3 years, and in November of 1998, I attended National 4-H Congress in Atlanta, Georgia. My e-mail address is jmw9j@virginia.edu |

Frannie Crowder Northeast District Ambassador |
Hi! My name is Frannie Crowder. I have been in 4-H for six years. Before I became a Northeast district ambassador, I was secretary of my 4-H club in Mechanicsville, VA. At the moment I hold the office of president. 4-H means a lot to me. I have been riding horses since I was four years old and always wanted to be in 4-H. When I finally joined, I became hooked. I have competed in hippology for the last five years and my team recently placed ninth individual and second team at the state level. I have only wanted to make 4-H better and promote it. I would like to see more people joining 4-H and less people leaving. 4-H is about being a leader and helping people. It's about working together and learning to get along. I have met some of my best friends and people that have touched me in ways I will never forget through 4-H. I have grown up so much since taking on my leadership roles, and I hope more people will follow my lead. |
