Overview of the Share-The-Fun Presentations
Share-the-Fun is one project in the 4-H Communications and Expressive Arts Curriculum area. All youth 9-19 years of age may enroll in this project. In addition to performing, Four H'ers may participate as technical staff members, show helpers, emcees, and other related stage tasks. Performance areas include:
- Vocal includes rap, yodeling - acappella or with musical accompaniment (If you accompany self, only voice will be judged)
- Instrumental (only the instrumental presentation will be judged)
- Dance (only the dance presentation will be judged)
- Tap
- Ballet
- Interpretive
- Modern
- Jazz
- Acrobatic
- Folk
- Clogging
- Drama
- Play or Scene from a Play
- Monologue
- Mime
- Variety
- Magic Acts
- Stand-up Comics
- Puppetry
- Impressionists
- Ventriloquism
- Clowning
- Juggling
- Circus Acts
- Tumbling/Gymnastics
- Step
- Lip Sync
- Bird Calls
- Karate
- Combination Two or more of any of the above categories, i.e. singing and dancing, singing and playing guitar, etc. Participant(s) will be judged on all aspects of the act
Additional Information:
- State winner
- cannot enter same routine
- cannot enter in same area
- can compete the next year in a different area with a different routine
- Time Limit on all acts: 4 Minutes - hold to time
- Acts will be marked down one color placing if they exceed 15 seconds after the allotted 4 minutes
- One act per unit per category
