The summer of 2000 was an exciting year for the 4-H/4-S Exchange program. For the first time since the exchange began, we had both incoming and outgoing groups participating at the same time.
The outgoing 4-H group traveled to Costa Rica June 30 to July 14. They stayed with the same group that visited Virginia last summer. (See the 1999 Exchange).
The incoming group stayed with 4-H members from Carroll County, August 1 through 14. They will host Carroll County youth in their homes next summer.
