Where should your group go when you just want to spend "s'more" time together?

Located in a natural wooded setting on the James River only minutes from Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown 4-H Educational Center is the perfect rustic setting to inspire reflection, encourage teamwork, and recharge your group.

The 1,100 feet of beachfront along the James River serve as the ideal setting for outdoor adventures and peaceful learning. The 4-H Center has lodging for 212, bunk bed style in rustic cabins and lodges with central baths. Cabins and lodges have heat and air conditioning. In addition, there are 6 motel style rooms with 2 twin single beds, private baths and heating and air conditioning.

Groups can enjoy delicious, wholesome meals and snacks served cafeteria style. A nutritious salad bar is available for meals along with special menu selections to meet your group needs and budget.

The 4-H Center has four meeting areas of different sizes to accommodate your group. Audio-visual equipment is available for a nominal fee. Two meeting areas feature kitchenettes. The Center also features scenic open-air meeting spaces on the grounds, including two covered picnic pavilions and an amphitheater.

The 4-H Center is located near historic Williamsburg, Jamestown Settlement and Busch Gardens. Groups may elect to explore area attractions in addition to staying at the 4-H Center. Center staff are available upon request to lead groups through Cooperative Learning activities, canoeing, swimming, or environmental education classes for an additional fee.

The experienced staff at our beautiful center have hosted hundreds of enjoyable picnics, retreats, parties, weddings, meetings, camps, reunions, and classes...and would be pleased to assist you in planning your next event!

We offer both a'la carte and package pricing for our lodging, food service, party and meeting spaces. Our affordable prices will allow your group to stay within your budget while spending quality time together.

Having a party?
Through the spring, summer and fall, Jamestown 4-H Educational Center is the perfect waterfront location for a festive event. Your guests will enjoy our picnic pavilions, junior-Olympic sized swimming pool, basketball courts, sand volleyball court, athletic field, pier, and our beautiful view of the James River. In cooler months, groups of any size will enjoy the comfortable atmosphere of our indoor party facilities. Your option of selecting our full food service or self-catering your event allows you the flexibility you need to host a party that best suits you and your guests. Any time of year, our center is the natural choice for a casually elegant banquet, wedding, or party.

Jamestown 4-H Educational Center's meeting facilities offer your group a quiet, comfortable location to get important work done. In order to make your meeting as productive as possible, we offer the options of meal and snack service, audio-visual equipment, flexible room arrangements, and even team-building initiative activities...all at very affordable rates.
