Programs
At Jamestown 4-H Educational Center, an American Camp Association Accredited camp, our trained, caring, professional staff from diverse backgrounds provide extensive programs throughout the year for children and adults.
- Junior Camp is our residential summer camp program available to youth ages 9-18. Sessions typically last for one week. Registration is completed through your local 4-H Extension Office.
- Clover Bud Camps
- Specialty Camps are typically weekend programs based on a specific theme and designed for specific age groups ranging from 5-18 years old.
- Examples of our Specialty Camps may include:
- Cloverbud Camps--for ages 5-8
- Teen Weekends--for ages 14-18
- Outdoor Adventure Weekends-ages 9-13
- Art Camps--ages 9-13
- Science Camps--ages 9-13
- and more!
- School Enrichment programs primarily serve public, private, and home school groups in our district and beyond. Our curriculum supplements classroom curriculum and is designed to assist teachers with Virginia Standards of Learning! All lesson plans are SOL correlated. Correlations are available for all environmental education programming.
- Low Ropes Teambuilding programs are available for groups of all ages and abilities. corporate groups, university clubs, civic clubs, specialty groups, and high school sports teams are just a few of the groups fro which we have provided successful and effective teambuilding programs.
