Nina Brooks, Conferencing Manager

Nina has been with us since April, 2005 when she started as Conferencing Coordinator. October of 2006 she took on the position of Conferencing Manager and is responsible for the booking of all Conferencing Groups, including (but not limited to) family reunions, weddings, church retreats, company picnics, business retreats, government meetings/functions, etc. Nina is ultimately responsible for ensuring all Conferencing groups have a positive experience while at the Skelton 4-H Center, and she does a fine job! Nina graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Tech (go Hokies!) She lives in Rocky Mount with her husband (and dog).

Megan Parker, Conferencing Coordinator

Megan started with us in January, 2007 and has jumped in feet first in order to meet the needs of our guests. Megan works with Nina to book conference events/groups such as weddings, familiy reunions, business retreats, and the many other functions and groups that we serve. Megan recently graduated from Concord University in Athens, West Virginia with a degree in Recreation & Tourism Management with an emphasis in Planning & Promotions. Megan originally hails from the mighty New River Valley. Megan now lives in Roanoke and enjoys the city life.
