Hi, I’m Brad Copenhaver, I am 17 years old, and from Washington County. I am currently serving as the State Cabinet Past President. I have been involved in 4-H for as long as I can remember, but I officially got my start by showing market lambs. I am involved locally through my school 4-H club and county 4-H livestock club. I have also been involved in many national events including State Congress, Statewide Teen Weekend and National 4-H Conference. Also this past year I was tapped into the Virginia 4-H All Stars. I have also served as SWD Ambassador and Virginia 4-H President. I first ran for cabinet so I could have a say in Virginia 4-H and State Congress. I have found this experience to be very rewarding. I have many goals as a Cabinet member, but my main goal is to promote 4-H and all of the awesome opportunities that are available through it. I am excited about this year on Cabinet and hope to build upon my leadership and teamwork skills. Being a part of this group is a great experience where you meet many new people. I encourage anyone who wants to make a difference in Virginia 4-H to run for Cabinet.
