Hello, my name is Charlie Stephens. I am 17 years old. I represent the Northern District of Virginia as Ambassador. I am from Goochland but I am a member in the Louisa Livestock Club. I have been in 4-H for going on 8 years now. My 4-H history has consisted mostly of community service activities and showing and selling of Boar goats. But I attended 4-H camp from when I was 10-13 years old. I ran for Cabinet this year because I believe I have the qualities to be a leader.  I simply wanted to take my 4-H experience to a leadership position. My goal as a Cabinet member is to provide all the help I can to improve the 4-H program as well as Congress. From my experience as a Cabinet member I want to learn how to develop good leadership skills as an influence in my community. I believe that others should run for Cabinet positions because the more members we have the more we can better ourselves.
