Hello, I’m Emily Goodwin and I am currently serving as your Northern District Ambassador. I’m 16 years old and I live in Orange County. I have been involved with 4-H for the past 6 years in the Orange County Bit’s ’N Bridle Horse Club. I show my horses at district, state, and regional levels in 4-H and do so successfully. I have been President of my 4-H club for the past three years and have held other positions before that. I also am involved in the Orange-Madison 4-H camp, as a counselor for the past two years. This is my first year on Cabinet and I look forward to working hard this year. My goal as a Cabinet member is to make congress the best it can be and encourage others to promote 4-H. I hope to gain much leadership experience this year on Cabinet and I hope I can encourage others to run for Cabinet in the future! I think others should consider running for Cabinet because it is a great experience and tons of fun!
