Hello, my name is Hannah Hudson and I am from Lee County. I am sixteen years old and serving as a Southwest District Ambassador. This is my ninth year in 4-H. I began my 4-H experience as a 4-H Cloverbud. Over the years I have attended 4-H camp as a camper for five years and counselor for two. I have participated in 4-H “How To” presentations and 4-H “Share the Fun” as a participant as well as a volunteer. I am president of my county 4-H scrap booking club and a member of the Southwest District Teen Counsel. I have also volunteered at local nursing homes during the holidays with 4-H and helped out with many 4-H day camps. This is my first year on cabinet. I ran for cabinet in order to get my peers more involved in local and statewide 4-H events and also to promote the
4-H Motto “To make the Best Better” in my area. I hope to enhance my skills in leadership, public speaking, and working together with others. Others should run for cabinet to help promote 4-H throughout Virginia, and to make life long friends.
