Hi, my name is Marquitta Walker. I am from Chesterfield County in the Northeast District. This year I served as mentor over the Public Relations Committee. I have been in 4-H for 10 years. My 4-H background includes 4-H camper and counselor, Chesterfield County Fair Clerk, former treasurer at the Chesterfield County Teen Club and former Northeast District Ambassador. This will be my 2nd year on Cabinet and I came back so that I could fully promote Virginia 4-H in my area. From my cabinet experience I hope to learn about the differences in other counties and gain a new retrospective so that I may grow as a leader. Others should run for Virginia 4-H State Cabinet to better develop themselves as leaders!
