AREAS OF MAJOR RESPONSIBILITY
4-H Staff Development
- Develop and coordinate staff development programs and events for salaried and volunteer 4-H staff
- Identify staff development needs related to curriculum in cooperation with Staff Development Subcommittee of the Educational Design Team
- Provide staff development resources to 4-H salaried and volunteer staff in cooperation with the Extension Educational Programming Unit
- Identify, document, and monitor the impacts of 4-H staff development
4-H Youth Camping
- Coordinate the Virginia 4-H Camping program in cooperation with 4-H Center Program Directors, 4-H Agents, and other Extension staff
- Provide 4-H camping resources to 4-H salaried and volunteer staff
- Identify, document, monitor, and promote the impacts, outcomes, and benefits of 4-H camping
4-H Centers
- Serve on the board of Virginia's six 4-H educational centers, functioning as Virginia's Cooperative Extension's liaison.
- Supervise and evaluate 4-H Center Extension faculty and classified staff
